1. How PrintBridge Works — Local-First Architecture

PrintBridge is built around a local desktop agent that runs entirely on your machine. Print job content never leaves your machine. All data (print payloads, document content, image data) flows directly between your browser or application and the PrintBridge agent over localhost (127.0.0.1). Our servers never see, store, or process your print data.

The agent stores an API key locally in your user data directory. This key is generated on first launch and never transmitted to Virtex Solutions LLC. You are responsible for securing it.

2. Information We Collect

When you create a PrintBridge account, we collect your email address and billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers). We also collect device registration data (a unique device ID and heartbeat timestamps) to enforce license limits. No print job content is ever sent to our servers; all print data flows directly between your browser and your local PrintBridge agent.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provision and manage your subscription and device licenses.
To send transactional emails (receipts, trial reminders, account notices).
To improve product reliability using anonymized usage metrics.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States. Stripe handles all payment processing and is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We use TLS/HTTPS for all data in transit and enforce row-level security on all database tables.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

6. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@printbridge.app. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Children

PrintBridge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
